Despite the additions of Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant, Caris LeVert of the Brooklyn Nets says they'll still consider themselves underdogs.
Caris LeVert joined ESPN's The Jump and shared his thoughts on the addition of KD and Kyrie. LeVert believes they're still the underdogs — a tag not meant to undervalue Irving and Durant, but to signify the identity they have fully embraced.

Article Continues Below“it’s kind of who we are,” said LeVert. “That’s the easy part for us. That’s who we are as players, as a team. I feel everyone has a chip on their shoulders from 1 to 15 before those guys and I know those guys do too. I feel everyone at this level, that’s kind of what you have to have to be one of the top players. That’s our identity. Going forward, I know we won’t lose that.”

Caris LeVert — the longest-serving player of the Nets — believes they have an opportunity of maximizing their potential in the 2019-20 season. He added that they don't know where they'll end up, but he's aware that they have a lot of firepower.
Indeed, it'll be an exciting year for the Nets. They were good last year with a 42-40 record that was enough to qualify for the playoffs. This year, they became a lot better with the addition of two of the most potent scorers in NBA history.
