Jamal Crawford will remain sidelined for the Brooklyn Nets when the team faces the Toronto Raptors in Game 1 of the first round of the 2020 NBA playoffs.
The 40-year-old crafty guard is still nursing a hamstring injury that he sustained during the Nets' third seeding game against the Milwaukee Bucks. Crawford missed the Nets' five other seeding games after the injury, and it remains to be seen if his absence will extend beyond Game 1 against the Raptors.

Caris LeVert has since stepped up for the squad, averaging 25.0 points, 5.0 rebounds, 6.7 assists and 1.5 steal in the six seeding games he played in. He was pivotal as the team finished with a 5-3 record in the bubble to secure the seventh seed in the West and book a date with the Raptors.
However, LeVert can only do so much, so Jacque Vaughn's men must rely on their depth if they want any shot at upsetting a deep and battle-tested Toronto team. After all, the Raptors are the defending champions and have proven that they are legitimate threats in the East even without Kawhi Leonard.
Jamal Crawford can undoubtedly help the Nets, considering that he's a savvy veteran who has plenty of experience performing on basketball's biggest stage.
