The Brooklyn Nets got Kyrie Irving back for Tuesday's game against the Detroit Pistons, but after an early deficit cameras caught James Harden getting into a heated exchange during a timeout with some of his teammates.

The Nets got off to a slow start and trailed 24-15 with five minutes left in the first quarter, and Harden and Deandre Jordan were exchanging some words during a timeout.

Harden basically forced his way out from the Houston Rockets and was dealt to the Nets in a huge four-way blockbuster deal in January, and the trio of Irving, Harden, and Kevin Durant was instantly in the conversation for a title contender.

However, it seems Harden is frustrated with something, whether it is the lack of effort on defense or the fact that the Pistons, who are the worst team in the NBA by the record, have jumped out to a big lead early on against the Nets.

He has done well in his time in Brooklyn and has been the primary ball-handler more often than not, allowing both Irving and Durant to score the ball at will for the Nets.

Harden's never been one to keep his feelings inside, so this isn't a surprise. However, this team needs to find a way to gel and work together if they do want to end up winning an NBA title, or even an Eastern Conference championship at this point with the Nets.

Just over a week ago the Nets lost to the Washington Wizards, and a loss to the Pistons, even without Durant, won't make for good headlines in Brooklyn. Steve Nash's team has to find a way to become more imposing and sturdy at the defensive end of the floor. This team resembles Nash's Phoenix Suns and Dallas Mavericks far too much — they could score at will and put on a show, but couldn't get enough defensive stops to win conference and NBA titles.
