The Brooklyn Nets have their first-round opponent in the Boston Celtics. Jayson Tatum went beast mode and dropped a 50-piece in the play-in game against the Charlotte Hornets to earn a date with the Nets. As Brooklyn gears up for the series, the talented Big Three is set to embark on their trip for an NBA title.
For James Harden, he keeps going with these rather quirky comments as he appears to be all about winning, according to Malika Andrews of ESPN.
James Harden on his slight statistical dip since his hamstring injury: "I thought winning was all that matters," he said, smiling."When I was doing the stats and filling up the numbers it wasn't good enough…It's all about winning. Today in practice I had zero points and we won"

Harden of course was out from April 5 until May 12 as he nursed that hamstring injury. In turn, there were concerns that he wouldn't be available for the playoffs, although those worries were put to rest as he returned for the final couple of games of the regular season.
Harden's right- it is all about winning. The Nets acquired Harden in a huge blockbuster trade earlier in the season and the trio of Kyrie Irving, Kevin Durant, and The Beard are among the best group in NBA history, according to some.
The problem is that they have only played a handful of games together. But, as Harden said, he had zero points and the Nets won- whatever that means.

Since joining the Nets, Harden has posted averages of 24.6 points with 8.5 boards and 10.9 assists as Brooklyn has finished the campaign with the second-best record in the Eastern Conference behind the Philadelphia 76ers.
So, as the Nets prepare for their run at NBA supremacy, Harden doesn't seem too worried about his production amid the injury. After all, Steve Nash still has Kyrie and Durant to turn to, not to mention Blake Griffin.
It could always be worse.
