It has been a common sight for James Harden to snag a triple-double-related record over the last few years. Some accuse The Beard of stat-padding, but other fans and analysts see it as a testament to Harden's all-around game.
Article Continues BelowHarden has indeed mastered the step-back 3-pointer, which fans saw a lot of it during his stint with the Houston Rockets. However, his playmaking has been in full display with the Nets after he paired up with other offensive monsters in Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving.
With the Nets, fans still see the Harden of old who breaks down defenses with an arsenal of dribbling moves. He either unleashes his signature step back or catches the defense with that soft floater.
But more often than not, Harden is constantly on the lookout for the likes of Joe Harris, Jeff Green, DeAndre Jordan, or Landry Shamet for quick dishes. Sometimes he just lets Kyrie do the work.
Be it with Houston or Brooklyn, it's safe to say that Harden hasn't lost his luster. He has adjusted perfectly to the new system. This is evident not just through his numbers. but for the mere fact that the Nets are racking up the victories.
