Things are finally shaping up for the Brooklyn Nets as the franchise's two superstars in Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant are starting to go back to the lab in preparation for the upcoming 2020-21 NBA season.
On Monday, the two All-Stars were seen working out together after a long hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This is definitely a scary sight for the rest of the league as both Kyrie and KD look to bounce back strong as their duo is set to make its debut for Brooklyn.

This is a welcome development especially for Durant, who has slowly been rehabilitating his Achilles tendon for the past 16 months. The last time the former MVP suited up for a professional basketball game was way back in June 2019 when he played his last game for the Golden State Warriors in Game 5 of the NBA Finals against the Toronto Raptors.
Article Continues BelowA few weeks after he was sidelined, Kevin Durant announced that he was packing his things and flying to the East to join Irving in Brooklyn. Since moving to New York, Durant has been forced to watch the entire 2019-20 season on the sidelines as he continued to recover from his injury.
For his part, Kyrie Irving has also had an injury-filled first season in Brooklyn. After starting strong as the Nets' main weapon, the six-time All-Star had to sit out a bunch of games due to a nagging shoulder injury which eventually forced him to sit out the rest of the season. In his first 20 games in Brooklyn, Irving averaged 27.4 points and even added 6.4 assists per game.
With these two back on track to spearhead the Nets' upcoming season, don't be surprised if Brooklyn starts turning heads and give the rest of the league a run for their money.
