The Brooklyn Nets’ 2016-2017 prospects may not be too enticing, but Randy Foye reveals one thing fans should keep an eye on.

Appearing on SiriusXM NBA Radio, the veteran guard could not hold back his excitement over what he foresees as a breakout campaign for Jeremy Lin.

“We have been playing in the backcourt for at least three weeks now, and he’s just been amazing. Like, I think he’s going to shock a lot of people too. Because his work ethic is unbelievable.”

Last season, Lin averaged 11.7 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 3.0 assists as a backup to Kemba Walker. He is returning to the New York area as a wiser man this time due to his playoff experience.

In Brooklyn, Lin has virtually zero competition at the point guard position, leaving the entire playmaking duties to himself. After three preseason games thus far, the Ivy League product has averaged 16.3 points, 2.7 rebounds, and 4.3 assists.

Outside of the numbers, Jeremy Lin will also be counted upon by his younger teammates for his leadership.
