Maybe Gordon Hayward isn't come back this year after all.
Boston Celtics head coach Brad Stevens once again told the media on Saturday that the team's star free agent signing is not expected to return this season after suffering a horrific leg injury at the beginning of the season, per Jay King of Masslive.com.
Brad Stevens reiterated the Celtics are not planning for a Gordon Hayward return this season.

There's been some good updates regarding the possibility that Hayward could possibly make a return at the end of the season, the most recent being that he will soon be out of his walking boot.
But Stevens reiterated that the team wasn't counting on that occurring, and that everyone involved was operating as if Hayward would not take one step on a basketball court until next season, per King.
“That being said, we're not planning on him. All (of the talk from Hayward) is really good because it indicates that he feels really good about where he's headed and he should,” Stevens said. “And that he's going to be fully healthy when he does get back out on the court, which he should. So that's the positive of it but we don't want to put that on him. And so we're assuming that that will not be the case.”
Stevens could just be blowing smoke publicly tempter expectations, but the latest is that Hayward won't be expected to rush back to action. That's the case until something changes.
