It has now been a few weeks since Boston Celtics All-Star forward Gordon Hayward suffered a broken leg in the season opener.

The 27-year-old has continued to progress in his recovery to the point to where he's putting up shots from a chair in the team's practice facility. With that in mind, Hayward recently posted a video on Instagram of him draining a halfcourt shot while sitting down.

Hayward is clearly extremely eager to get back on the court as he's already taking shots from a chair. He hasn't allowed the lack of mobility affect his ability to train in some type of fashion on the court until his left leg is healed to the point to where he can physically work off of it.

It will be a long road to recovery for Hayward as he will have to regain the strength back in his leg and rebuild the confidence he has in his physical ability on the court. There will also be the task of getting back the conditioning that is needed to play in an NBA game and handle the rigors of an entire season.

Regardless of that being the case, the fact that Hayward is pushing himself to work on the court should be quite an encouraging sign for the Celtics.
