Kendrick Lamar's concert on Wednesday night had fans everywhere buzzing for several reasons. For starters, Lamar is one of the greatest hip-hop artists of all time, so folks were obviously pumped to see him take the stage in the wake of his highly-publicized beef with Drake. But beyond that, he had a ton of big name guests join him on stage, with Chicago Bulls star DeMar DeRozan being among that crew.
Like Lamar, DeRozan grew up in Compton, California before finding his way to the NBA, so he has some ties to Lamar. But he also has ties to Drake given how he spent nine years of his career playing for the Toronto Raptors, which is Drake's favorite team. After he took the stage alongside Lamar for one his performances of “Not Like Us,” which is a diss track aimed at Drake, fans quickly took to social media to troll Drake for seemingly having DeRozan betray him.

Fans believe DeMar DeRozan ditched Drake for Kendrick Lamar

Drake is from Toronto, so he is a big fan of the Raptors, and can often be found courtside at Scotiabank Arena cheering the team on. So when DeRozan was playing for the Raptors, he and Drake became pretty close, as they were often seen chatting at these games, and they even starred together in a State Farm commercial as well.
The beef between Lamar and Drake has caused many folks to inadvertently pick sides between the two top artists, and a lot of folks have sided with Lamar. DeRozan seems to be joining his team too by joining him on stage for this performance, and he wasn't exactly the only big name NBA star to be seen in attendance at this concert.
Alongside DeRozan for this performance was Russell Westbrook, but there were other legends who were in the stands too. James Harden was seen hanging out with Rick Ross, who has also had his own beef with Drake lately, and LeBron James was seen in the stands as well, which was notable given his friendship with Drake.
But among those guys, DeRozan may be the one who seemingly had the best relationship with Drake given their Toronto ties. It seems like the Bulls star is siding with his hometown squad, though, as he was pretty pumped up to be on stage with Lamar performing a song that features some not so nice lyrics about Drake.
While the main act of Lamar and Drake's beef is over, Lamar is still getting shots in on Drake, even though he has largely been declared the winner by fans at this point. Bringing DeRozan out was the equivalent of rubbing salt in Drake's wounds, and it looks like the former Raptors star may have betrayed his old friend from Toronto after all.
