DeMar DeRozan led the Chicago Bulls to a huge victory on Wednesday night as they took down Giannis Antetokounmpo and the defending champs Milwaukee Bucks to even out this first-round series at 1-1.
After the game, DeRozan was asked by Charles Barkley about his elite mid-range game and how he feels about the NBA transitioning to a 3-point-heavy league. The Bulls superstar was brutally honest with his response as he relayed his one-man mission in trying to save the two-point shot (h/t NBA on TNT on Twitter):
“I hope they watching,” DeRozan said. “You know I'm trying to master it. I'm trying to keep the 2-point alive.”

If there are kids out there that want to develop their game from the mid-range then there are few better players to watch than DeMar DeRozan. The Bulls swingman showcased his entire repertoire on Wednesday, dropping a game-high 41 points all over Giannis and Co. DeRozan went 16-of-31 from the field and 9-of-9 from distance, while also logging seven boards, four assists, a steal, and two blocks in 44 minutes of play.
The Bulls just stole home-court advantage from the Bucks here and they're now heading back to Chicago to try and get a couple of wins on their home floor.
