Chicago Bulls small forward Jabari Parker, who has been the subject of trade rumors, is inactive against the Oklahoma City Thunder due to a stomach illness.

Jabari Parker reportedly got the stomach illness while the team was in Mexico City last week taking on the Orlando Magic.

Parker signed a two-year, $40 million free-agent deal with his hometown Bulls in the summer, but his homecoming has been a nightmare. While the former No. 2 overall pick is putting up good statistical numbers, his defense has been atrocious and he will likely be traded soon now that he's out of the playing rotation.

Parker is averaging 15.2 points, 6.9 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game this season while shooting 45.5 percent from the field, 29.3 percent from beyond the arc and 72.4 percent from the free-throw line. Parker's camp is reportedly working with the Bulls to find a trade which works for both sides.

As K.C. Johnson of the Chicago Tribune notes, Chicago rookie Rawle Alkins is active. The Bulls called him up from the G-league a few days ago because of Parker's illness. Starting shooting guard Zach LaVine is also out for the next few games due to an ankle injury he suffered against the Magic. The high-flyer is currently in a walking boot.
