It's been a hell of a week for Zach LaVine, as the Chicago Bulls star shooting guard reels in a monster $215 million contract. Additionally, he and his wife made an exciting announcement regarding their family. LaVine has got to be on cloud nine right now.

According to TMZ, the star guard announced he and his wife are expecting their first child together. His wife, Hunter, sent an Instagram post with the caption, “Baby LaVine loading! God has blessed us with the most special gift and we couldn’t be happier.” So, the Bulls' superstar gets a big payday along with the greatest news of his life so far in the baby announcement.

What a week it's been for Zach LaVine. After averaging over 23 points per game for the third year in a row, the Bulls rewarded him with a max contract worth $215 million. He is clearly one of the best scoring guards in the league and he likely won't cool off anytime soon.

Especially now with the new motivation in his first born child on the way. Perhaps we'll see a more focused and determined version of Zach LaVine in the upcoming season. The Bulls have made some nice moves in an attempt to improve the roster and LaVine is going to play a major role for this ball club moving forward.

With that said, Chicago is lucky to have him as he deserves the contract extension for his efforts on the court. Additionally, congratulations to Hunter and Zach LaVine on the announcement of their first child together.
