Another contender for Dwyane Wade has risen out of the background, perhaps taking a lead in the bidding for his services.

Wade's hometown Chicago Bulls have been linked to the slashing shooting guard for years, and they currently have their best shot at landing the 12-time All-Star.

Now that Dwyane's meeting with the Milwaukee Bucks is back on, it appears that he's more serious than ever about possibly leaving Miami. To add to his options, Wade is also meeting with Chicago:

The Heat are still the favorites, and the Denver Nuggets‘ lucrative two-year offer, which reportedly extends north of $50 million, is well-documented. But the Bulls are apparently willing to offer Wade something both Denver and Miami have not previously.

Even though it's only a partial guarantee for the third year, it demonstrates Chicago's confidence that Wade still has it, even as the years pile up on his aging knees. That means something to the three-time champion.

For most of this free agency period, we've assumed that Wade would eventually end up reaching a common ground with the Heat. It still could, and probably will, happen. But the drama is far from over.
