While we aren't always thankful of those who paved the way, Chicago Bulls new signing Dwyane Wade showed love to two of the icons that ruled the game during his childhood and playing career.

Wade took to Instagram and posted a picture of Kobe Bryant defending Michael Jordan, captioning it: “Top 2 shooting guards of All-time. Thank you both!!!”

Wade, a Chicago-area native, has idolized Jordan from his time coming into the league and has spent most of his career being witness to Bryant's antics for 13 seasons until his recent retirement.

One thing is for sure, greatness knows greatness and “Flash” won't take long to join them as part of the NBA's all-time shooting guard elite once he closes the book on his career.
