Shortly after the 2020 presidential election was officially called for Joe Biden, Cleveland Cavaliers forward Kevin Love took to social media to offer a four-word plea to the newly crowned president-elect.
Love wants Biden to help the nation recover from the divisiveness that seems to have gripped it.

The former All-Star is one of many athletes, and in particular NBA stars, to have taken to Twitter during the past day to celebrate the former vice-president's victory over the incumbent U.S. President Donald Trump.
Following the president's past remarks criticizing the league and its players over their stance regarding racial injustice, and the need for police reform, prominent players around the league have been vocal in their opposition to Trump.
Article Continues BelowIn particular, Love's former Cavs teammate LeBron James has taken delight in skewering Trump online, similarly taking to Twitter to commemorate Joe Biden's victory.
While the former UCLA product has not been as vocal, Love's post is not a surprise given his past involvement with efforts to bring attention to issues related to systematic racism. In June, a majority of Cavs players posted messages of support for the Black Lives Matter cause, with Love also releasing statements in support of their efforts, following protests during the summer that occurred around the nation.
Not long after Love tweeted his message to Joe Biden, the president-elect gave his victory speech in Wilmington, Delaware where he echoed the forward's call.
Biden will be sworn in as the 46th U.S. President on January 20, 2021.
