Fans of LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers are in a celebratory mood as the team is headed back to the NBA Finals for a fourth consecutive season. The Cavs have now won four straight Eastern Conference championships after beating the young and feisty Boston Celtics 87-79 Sunday night's Game 7.
Some fans, however, are taking the celebration a bit too far by trolling one of the players that the Cavaliers traded in the blockbuster deals at the 2018 trade deadline.
Isaiah Thomas tweeted a question to his followers prior to Game 7 of the Cavs-Celtics series, asking who they think will win the game and Eastern Conference crown.

One follower retweeted Thomas’ question and answered it with a short, but savage comment.
The team that traded you. https://t.co/fOZmQaJZlO

Thomas hasn’t responded to the nasty comments below his tweet, but he later tweeted an expression that appears to be related to Game 7.

The 5-foot-9, former MVP candidate was traded by the Celtics to the Cavaliers during the offseason along with Jae Crowder, Ante Zizic and Brooklyn's 2018 first-round draft pick in exchange for All-Star point guardKyrie Irving.
Thomas was injured in last year’s playoffs and spent much of this year recovering from a hip injury. When he suited up for the Cavs, he wasn’t quite the same player that he was, as he struggled to play well in his new surroundings.
Due to locker room issues, the Cavaliers decided to overhaul their roster at the trade deadline which included trading Thomas, Channing Frye and their own 2018 first-round pick to the Los Angeles Lakers for guard Jordan Clarkson and forward Larry Nance Jr.
Thomas played well for the Lakers, but was sidelined once again with the hip injury he suffered last year. He is now recovering from hip surgery once again.
