It’s a time of transition for new L.A. Clippers forward Tobias Harris, who just became a part of one of the most unexpected blockbuster trades in recent memory.
Familiar with his current position, Harris is staying positive and posted the photo below on Instagram. It had a caption that said #GodsPlan, which could very well be referencing the title of rapper Drake’s current hit single.
The post came after his first game with the Clippers, where he tied a team-high with 24 points en route to a 113-103 win over the visiting Chicago Bulls.

This will be Harris’ third team in a span of two years, and also the third time in his career that he has been surprisingly traded. He was dealt by his first NBA team, Milwaukee Bucks, to the Orlando Magic after just 70 games and only 11.5 minutes per contest.

While with the Magic, he appeared to become a key piece of the franchise’s new direction. However, despite putting up decent numbers of 15.6 points and 7.0 rebounds per game during his three-year stay, he was again shipped elsewhere, this time to the Detroit Pistons.
Similar to what he did in his previous stop, Harris adjusted well with the Pistons, and was able to provide offense and defense. In fact, his season averages of 18.2 points and 2.4 made threes per game are both career-bests – his increased production from downtown even got him invited to the upcoming 3-point shootout at the All-Star weekend.
Harris is playing an interesting role with the Clippers. He partners with Lou Williams and Danilo Gallinari in being the team's scorers in the crucial playoff push.
The 26-25 L.A. Clippers, currently ninth in the West, are balancing their way to a playoff spot. They are closely trailing the eighth-seeded Denver Nuggets and seventh-seeded New Orleans Pelicans.
