Luka Doncic's status for Game 4 of the Dallas Mavericks-Utah Jazz playoffs series remains unchanged as he continues to recover from his left calf strain.

Doncic missed the first three games of the series due to the injury. Fortunately, the Mavs have held on well, going 2-1 up even with their superstar sidelined.

The Slovenian wonderboy basically remains questionable for the contest, with the Mavs taking it day-by-day to see how he improves and recovers from the calf issue. Even Doncic himself admitted that he doesn't know whether he'll play on Saturday or not.

“I don’t know,” Doncic said when asked if he'll be playing versus the Jazz in Game 4, per team reporter Dwain Price.

“I'm going to practice today, so we'll see how it feels. I think after practice we’ll know if I’ll play or not. I feel good. I’m feeling better every day.”

The Mavs are certainly not rushing Luka Doncic, and they don't have to. Jalen Brunson is filling the void left on the offensive end really well, allowing Dallas to take control of the series even without their superstar.

Of course the rest of the team would love to have Luka back. He makes things a lot easier, and the attention he commands on the defensive end opens up a lot of opportunities for his Mavs teammates. But then again, his long-term health is the no. 1 priority and Dallas can't afford to risk worsening his injury.
