Luka Doncic continues his virtuoso performance for the Dallas Mavericks this season. The rookie sensation scored 32 points, grabbed eight boards, and dished out eight assists to help the Mavs beat the Detroit Pistons 106-101 at home.
Doncic notched another statistical achievement with his 32-8-8 line. Only two other players were able to accomplish such feat as teenagers.

He belongs to an elite list right there. Doing something that only two of the greatest players of today were able to accomplish during their rookie season should give people an idea of how bright this kid's future can be in this league. He's just 19 years old but is already standing his ground against some of the best players in the NBA right now.
Article Continues BelowLuka Doncic, who could very well be an All-Star reserve, is averaging 20.2 points, 6.8 rebounds, and 5.3 assists per game this season while keeping the Mavs' playoff chances alive. They are five games behind the L.A. Clippers for the eighth spot in the Western Conference, and they still have a significant number of games to make one final push in the final two months of the regular season.
Dallas will likely be saying goodbye to future Hall of Famer Dirk Nowitzki following this season, as the 21-year veteran is set to retire. But it seems like the Mavs have found a worthy successor in Doncic, who is now expected to carry this team in his shoulders for years to come.
And it seems that he's ready and willing to take over the throne that will be left by Nowitzki.
