Dallas Mavericks star Luka Doncic dominated in the Mavs' win over the Milwaukee Bucks on Saturday night.
Doncic recorded his third triple-double in the bubble, scoring 36 points to go along with 19 assists and 14 rebounds. The Mavs phenom also made all the key plays down the stretch.
The second-year star helped the Mavs overcome a seven-point deficit in the final two minutes of the fourth quarter. Dallas seized control early in the overtime period, but the Bucks fought back.
Dallas still led by two with just over a minute left when Doncic initiated a pick-and-roll with Mavs big man Maxi Kleber. Doncic proceeded to unleash a spectacular between-the-legs pass to hit Kleber in stride for a big dunk, plus the foul.
The play was something of a backbreaker for the Bucks. Meanwhile, Doncic said he simply made an instinctual move:
“I don't know why I did it, I just did it.”

Luka has been a force of nature for the Mavs in Orlando.
Doncic is averaging 33.4 points, 11.6 assists and 11.6 rebounds through five games, with the Mavs going 3-2 in that span. Dallas has already played three overtime games, but Doncic has exhibited fresh legs in spite of a number of injuries during the regular season.
The Mavericks are still the seventh seed in the Western Conference. They trail both the sixth-seeded Utah Jazz and fifth-seeded Oklahoma City Thunder by two games, but they have a chance to gain ground against Utah on Monday night.
Luka seems to make the spectacular seem ordinary, which is especially impressive considering he is still just 21 years old.
