Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban is an extremely wealthy man, and the Mavs boss let everyone know that with a not-so-subtle dig at the NBA on Monday night.

Hours after the league brought down a staggering $500,000 fine Cuban's way after his incendiary remarks directed at officials, the controversial billionaire had an interesting choice of clothing during the Mavs' hosting of the Memphis Grizzlies at the American Airlines Center on Friday.

Cuban, 61, wore a shirt printed with various money symbols and currencies. Three commas were also printed on the left sleeve, a clear ode to his billionaire status.

Mark Cuban was certainly unhappy in the aftermath of the Mavs' 111-107 loss to the Atlanta Hawks last February 23. He was particularly peeved with the referees penalizing Dorian Finney-Smith for goaltending, giving Atlanta a four-point advantage in the dying seconds of regulation.

Cuban was all over the official's face after that sequence and entered the playing court twice. The NBA ultimately rejected the team's protest and fined the boastful owner half a million dollars for supposedly not holding himself to a higher standard as an executive.

“The NBA further determined that Mr. Cuban’s conduct toward game officials — along with his public criticism of NBA officiating, the officiating program, and individuals who work in the league’s Referee Operations Department — violated NBA rules,” the league said in a statement.

Cuban, of course, is no stranger to coughing up huge fines since he purchased a majority stake with the Mavs back in 2000. The hefty fine is likely because of his repeated offenses throughout the years.

The tech mogul and investor, meanwhile, likely won't lose any sleep over the fine as he has a reported net worth of 4.3 billion USD in 2020.
