The Denver Nuggets might be the underdogs against the Golden State Warriors in the playoffs, but some fans believe they have a chance. Many point to the Warriors' revolving door of players this season as part of their demise. For them, the Warriors having to adjust to having new players and stars being out or on minutes restriction could give their opponents a chance.

However, Nuggets coach Michael Malone of all people shut down this claim. Malone responded with a rather NSFW remark when a reporter asked him this question. He said: (via Kendra Andrews)

“Learning on the fly, my ass. Those guys have a lot of experience together. So sell that iceberg to somebody else.”

Malone and the Nuggets know just how much the Warriors are tightly knit together. These two teams have faced each other multiple times in the playoffs in the last decade. Having a first-hand experience of the Warriors show, Malone knows more than anyone that time off doesn't mean jackrabbit for that team.

Besides, the Nuggets have their own learning to do in the playoffs. Mainly: learning to not give up leads when Nikola Jokic goes out of the game. Without key players like Michael Porter Jr. and Jamal Murray, the team has been forced to lean to their MVP an unhealthy amount of times. It's unclear whether this style of play is sustainable, especially against a stacked Warriors team.

Still, Malone and the Nuggets will fight to try and prolong this series as much as possible. Every game they win gives their injured stars a chance to get back into action. That's something that all of their fans, players, and staff have wanted.
