Detroit Pistons star Blake Griffin appears to be switching sports in the near future. That is of course if you take the word of some random Twitter user, who apparently believes that Griffin could take over as the new quarterback of the Dallas Cowboys in place of the injured Dak Prescott.
It appears to be a case of mistaken identity, with the fan mistakenly tagging Griffin in his tweet instead of Baltimore Ravens quarterback Robert Griffin III. The six-time NBA All-Star caught wind of the error and was quick to come out with his own hilarious response.
i really appreciate your confidence in me man but i don’t think i can play qb https://t.co/MYNzF49xOV

Griffin is a tremendous athlete, one of the best in recent memory, but it's difficult to see him becoming a quarterback in the NFL, not to mention a franchise player like Prescott, who will miss the rest of the season.
As for his basketball, it's going to be a very interesting season ahead for Griffin. He is coming off yet another injury-plagued campaign, suiting up for the Pistons in just 18 contests, putting up career-lows of 15.5 points and 4.7 rebounds.
Prior to that, however, the 31-year-old had a tremendous year in Motown, the best season he's had in a long time. He even earned a spot in the NBA All-Star Game for the first time in four years. He averaged a career-high 24.5 points on top of 7.5 rebounds and 5.4 assists.
It is clear that health is going to be the biggest factor in Blake Griffin's career moving forward, and as long as he can remain on the floor, it looks like he can lead the Pistons to a good run this upcoming season.
