Detroit Pistons big man Christian Wood is the latest NBA player to test positive for coronavirus. Thankfully, the 24-year-old is “100 percent OK” and in high spirits:
“He’s 100 percent OK and feeling fine.” #Pistons’ Christian Wood becomes the third NBA player to test positive for coronavirus. Detroit faced Utah on March 7.

That's as good an update we can get regarding Wood's current condition, all things considered. We are certain that he is getting the best medical attention available, so at this point, all we can do is hope for the best.
The 6-foot-10 Pistons power forward is the third NBA to test positive for the coronavirus. This development comes days after the Utah Jazz duo of Rudy Gobert and Donovan Mitchell both tested positive.
While Wood has tested positive, other Pistons players reportedly will not be getting immediately tested unless they show symptoms:
Even with Christian Wood's positive test, the #Pistons don't have immediate plans to test everybody else unless they get symptoms, since they're in self-isolation.

One has to think that may change at some point given the gravity of the situation. Wood's teammates and Pistons staff will want to know if the virus passed to them.
Article Continues BelowIt is also being reported that Wood complained about having flu-like symptoms prior to Detroit's matchup against the Philadelphia 76ers on Wednesday, March 11. The former UNLV standout was a full participant in that one, so it would only be logical for the Sixers to be on high alert and potentially get tested as well, if possible.
