This upcoming draft class is one of the most talent-packed we've seen in a long time. The top 3 prospects are pretty much a sure thing with Zion Williamson expected to go first to the New Orleans Pelicans, Ja Morant going second to the Memphis Grizzlies, and RJ Barrett going third to the New York Knicks. After that, though, it's going to be a free-for-all.

This is exactly what Detroit Pistons team executive Ed Stefanski believes, and despite his years of experience in the league, he has admitted that in his mind, it is impossible to tell at the moment what's going to happen beyond the top 3 picks.

“After that, I have no idea, and that’s unusual in the draft,” he said, via James L. Edwards of The Athletic. “I usually feel that I have enough people in the league that I know and (director of player personnel) Gregg (Polinsky) knows that we can kind of figure it out. This one is wild after that. I don’t know what that says, though.”

The Pistons will be picking 15th overall, and most mock drafts have projected that they will try to fill their need at the shooting guard position. Names like USC's Kevin Porter Jr., Kentucky's Tyler Hero, and Indiana's Romeo Langford have all been linked to Detroit.

However, what Stefanski is saying here is absolutely true. The Pistons will be picking 12 spots after the top 3, and so much is definitely going to happen in between that it's almost impossible to predict what or who is going to be available when it's their turn on the podium.
