Draymond Green, as we know, was arrested the other day for allegedly assaulting a fan in East Lansing. He apparently slapped a fan, but there were no injuries whatsoever. Draymond made bail and will be due in court within a week or so.
Green's lawyer has come out to say that Draymond is 100% innocent. We hadn't heard from Draymond himself though. Well, that was until just the other day.
Yesterday, Green appeared in public for the first time since the arrest at Fortune's Brainstorm Tech Conference in Colorado. He spoke and had this to say:
Article Continues Below“I think when things happen, I think you meet them head on. My legal team is handling it. It will be resolved really quickly. As a public figure, I just can't put myself in certain situations. It's something that I'll learn from and just move on.”
That was the perfect thing that Green could've said at this time. He knew he shouldn't have put himself in any situation that could've potentially gotten him in trouble and he has said that he has learned from his mistake.
Hopefully, for Warriors fans and Green himself, this situation can resolve itself quickly.
