In the Golden State Warriors‘ humbling 137-116 loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers in Game 4 of the NBA Finals, things got really chippy at an alarming rate, as a total of seven technical fouls — along with a flagrant for good measure — was called during the contest.
To nobody's surprise, one of those technicals was charged to the fiery Draymond Green, who was even oh-so close to being ejected from the entire game.
In turn, some fans from the Bay Area at a local grocery store ran into Green leading up to Game 5 on Monday and had this to say to the Michigan State product (via The Mercury News' fan blog Fast Break):
Draymond says people in the grocery store were telling him to keep his cool. "This must be bad."

As it turned out, Green did keep his temper in relative check during Game 5's series-clinching victory in Oakland. In fact, he was nowhere to be found on the list of offenders from the three technical fouls that were dished out in that game.
The result of a clear-headed outing from Golden State's starting power forward was the team's second NBA title in three years. It also served as a redemption of sorts for Green, who claimed that last season's NBA Finals loss to the Cavs was largely his fault.
It seems that Draymond took his fans' advice in stride, and the Warriors could not have been any happier about the outcome of the series finale without their proclaimed “heart and soul” having another cardiac arrest on the court. Talk about all that and a bag of chips.
