The Golden State Warriors are headed to the NBA Finals for the first time in two years and are currently the favorites against the Boston Celtics to win their fourth title in the past six seasons. In this light, ESPN's Stephen A. Smith decided to come out with another hot take by dragging Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James into the conversation.
Stephen A had yet another animated argument with First Take co-host Kendrick Perkins and unsurprisingly, LeBron was brought into the conversation. Smith declared that he firmly believed that when it is all send and done, Curry would have won more NBA titles than the Lakers star:
“I see this team potentially — I'm not gonna say potentially. I’m willing to say the Golden State Warriors are winning two of the next three titles,” Smith saud. “I believe Steph Curry will eclipse LeBron James and capture five championships in his career while LeBron is still stuck on four. That is what I believe will happen.”

Smith was refuting Perkins' earlier statement about this season being the Warriors' last legitimate chance to win a title. According to Stephen A, it is clear to him that the Dubs are built to win at least two more championships in the next three years. This would bring Curry's tally to five titles as opposed to that of Lakers talisman LeBron James, who currently has four chips to his name.

Let's not get beyond ourselves just yet, though. We simply must not overlook Jayson Tatum and the Celtics here as they will certainly pose a real challenge to Curry and the Warriors winning their fourth NBA championship.
