Entering Saturday's marquee matchup against the Brooklyn Nets, the Golden State Warriors are 36-13 and are sitting on the second spot of a ruthless Western Conference. The Dubs have done this amid Stephen Curry's shooting slump, Klay Thompson still working his way back to form, and Draymond Green on the sidelines due to injury.
For Brooklyn coach Steve Nash, it is abundantly clear for him that his Nets — and the rest of the NBA for that matter — should be wary of the Warriors and their aspirations this season:
“Klay, how hungry do you think he is right now?” Nash said, via Nick Friedell of ESPN. “Steph after their last couple years — how hungry do you think he is? I think Draymond as much as anybody's come back this year [is] in incredible form. So they're hungry, they're motivated.”

As coach Nash so aptly put it, the Warriors are perhaps the hungriest team in the league right now. Thompson has been sidelined for the past two seasons. Steph hasn't fared too well in terms of avoiding injuries, and while he was on the floor over the past two years, his Dubs have been terrible.
Golden State's strong play during the first half of the campaign has been nothing short of impressive and the fact that they've been able to play through their struggles — and prospered — speaks volumes of how motivated this squad is right now.
Steve Nash is taking a cautious disposition when talking about the Dubs — and rightfully so. The rest of the NBA should be worried, too.
