This season is very different from the last for the Warriors.

Last year, the Warriors were the defending champs and also on a historic mission throughout the regular season, chasing the all-time wins record of the 1995-96 Bulls, ultimately besting it by a game and then looking to cap off the year with a second straight title.

The Warriors came up short in the postseason with adversity hitting harder than most expected, and at some of the worst times possible.

That experience combined with the change in narrative has lifted some of the pressure off the Warriors, according to Stephen Curry, who claims they don't feel “hunted” anymore.

Curry doesn't come out and say that last year they felt much more pressure but it's pretty clear from these words that's the general feeling.

Some may disagree with this since the Warriors added Kevin Durant in the summer, meaning that anything short of a championship and a dominant run in the playoffs may be looked at as a failure.

It's beneficial to the Warriors that they don't share this sentiment. Pressure can get to a team and last year it may have affected the Warriors in the NBA Finals. A free and flowing group in the postseason this year looks to have the season end differently.
