The Golden State Warriors etched out a win in Game 3 to grab a commanding 3-0 lead in the NBA Finals over the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Stephen Curry once again played a major part of the Game 3 win stemming from another huge performance as he posted a double-double with 26 points including 5-of-9 from beyond the arc along with a game-high 13 rebounds. According to Basketball-Reference, Curry's big night helped him join LeBron James for a rare NBA Finals record.

It has been a completely different performance in the NBA Finals for Curry as he's averaging 28.7 points on 44.8 percent shooting from the field and 48.4 percent from beyond the arc with 9.0 assists, and 9.7 rebounds through the first three games. This includes posting three double-doubles with one triple-double in the process.

The 28-year-old has been playing at an MVP-level notching at least 28 points and four made 3-pointers in each contest. Durant has also stepped up his play on the biggest stage averaging 34 PPG on 56.1 percent shooting from the field per game.

Curry and Durant have been a major reason for the Warriors grabbing a third straight win to put them just one shy of earning a sweep over the defending NBA Champions and also becoming the first team to hold a perfect 16-0 record in the playoffs in league history.
