Kevin Durant is a free man. It appears his decision to sign with the Golden State Warriors was the right move, at least for himself.
Although Durant has been blasted on Twitter by many fans who disagree with the decision, he has gotten one of his biggest enemies to settle down, and that is The Based God.
Lil B tweeted out today that the curse he placed on Kevin Durant has been lifted. In the beginning of free agency, he tweeted that if Durant would sign with the New York Knicks, he would lift the curse, but as usual, there was no response or attention given to it by Durant.
Prior to that, he tweeted that wherever Durant lands in free agency, the curse will follow him.
Now that Durant is a Warrior, the tide has shifted, and he has gone from never winning a championship to being on a championship team that so happens to be Lil B's favorite squad.
Article Continues BelowAfter a disastrous collapse for Durant and OKC, dropping a 3-1 lead over the Warriors in the Western Conference finals, Lil B was asked about the curse situation on Durant, and he responded:
I mean, the numbers don't lie. That’s what I think. Men lie, women lie, numbers don’t. When you say something’s going to happen and it happens, some people can call it luck but how many lucky times can you have. You know, so the proof’s in the pudding.
