Two years from now, the Golden State Warriors will have themselves a new home at the Chase Center in downtown San Francisco.

Considering the denser and more affluent market in San Francisco, the Warriors are expecting their loyal fans to pony up even more for their price of admission once the transition is made.

Apparently, Golden State's management had already come up with a rather unique plan to do just that. Former San Jose Mercury News contributor Adam Lauridsen (via RealGM) got a tip from his sources within the organization that the Warriors are looking to generate around $300 million in personal seat licenses (PSLs) alone.

PSLs, which are more commonly offered by NFL teams as a mean to sell dedicated seats to season ticket holders, aren't commonplace in the NBA. Only the Charlotte Hornets, Toronto Raptors, and Utah Jazz offer PSLs in their respective arenas.

But if there's one franchise that will command a great demand for reserved seating from its fanbase — no matter the cost — it's the Warriors. With the team set to go well over the luxury tax over the next four seasons, it'll definitely need all the financial support it can get from its passionate fans' checkbooks.
