Andrew Wiggins had arguably the best game of his young postseason career in Game 6 against the Memphis Grizzlies. Interim Golden State Warriors head coach Mike Brown knew it was coming even before the game started.
Brown, who is holding down the fort amid Steve Kerr's COVID-related absence, detailed an interaction with Andrew Wiggins that made him believe that the Warriors All-Star was “locked in” hours before tip-off:
“This morning during shootaround, I knew he'd have a big game because we changed our pick & roll coverage. And when we made the change, Wiggins asked, ‘Coach, do you want me to pick up Tyus Jones full-court?'
I said, ‘Wiggs, you want to do that for 48 minutes?' He said, ‘I'm locked in. I'll do it for 48 minutes, you just tell me.'
So when a guy like that comes up to you and says that, you know he's ready for the task at hand,” said the interim Warriors coach.
"I'm locked in, I'll do it for 48 minutes you just tell me."

Andrew Wiggins certainly looked “locked in” during the series-clinching win. He finished with 18 points and 11 rebounds, staying active and engaged on offense and on the glass.

The Warriors swingman also made his presence felt on the other end with three blocks and a steal while locking up Tyus Jones. The Grizzlies point guard had previously stepped up in place of the injured Ja Morant.
After scoring 40 points total on 16-for-30 shooting in Games 4 and 5 combined, Wiggins made Jones feel him defensively, limiting him to just seven points on a frigid 2-for-12 shooting clip.
Andrew Wiggins' all-around efforts netted him a +20 in the box score, the highest on the team.
The Warriors are at their best when all of their weapons are firing on all cylinders. A motivated Andrew Wiggins makes them that much more dangerous.
