It's no secret that Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry is one of the most talented players in the NBA and the greatest shooter ever. Just how difficult is he to defend? Well, just ask CJ McCollum.

The Pelicans guard went into detail on what it's like to try and contain Steph and why it's almost impossible to actually stop him from producing in one way or another.

“It's very tough. You have to throw different bodies at Stephen Curry; this isn't a guy you can just guard with one person,” he said. “He's a galaxy, he's a planet, he's a solar system. Everything revolves around him.”

McCollum essentially said the only way to slow him down is to limit the open looks, but we know that Steph can still make it rain with a hand or two in his face. That's what makes him so special. You add in a guy like Klay Thompson alongside Curry who can also shoot the lights out and the Warriors have one of the most unstoppable duos in the game.

Stephen Curry broke the all-time 3-point record earlier in the 2021-22 season at Madison Square Garden then proceeded to lead the Dubs all the way to another title. He also finally won a Finals MVP, the first of his illustrious career. To this day, teams still haven't figured out the best game plan to limit Steph and at this point, it's unlikely they do. You just play the best defense possible and hope he misses some shots.
