Charlotte Hornets forward Miles Bridges already had an inkling that they were going to have their hands full as they go head-to-head with the Golden State Warriors on Friday night, only a week after their latest encounter. After seeing how their previous meeting transpired, Bridges had a self-prophecy that Draymond Green was bound to have a better performance in the second matchup between the two teams, via Rod Boone.
Miles Bridges said he "can't wait for round 2" with Warriors tonight. Knowing Draymond Green the way he does, he expects he'll be fired up. "The thing about Draymond is his memory is crazy. He never forgets anything so he's going to try to use that game as motivation against us."

Back on Feb. 20, the Warriors narrowly succumbed to the Hornets on a 102-100 defeat. Green was ejected late in the fourth quarter after receiving double technical fouls which led him to register five points, seven rebounds, and three assists in 31 minutes.
The debacle proved to be costly for the Warriors as it eventually gave an opportunity to Hornets guard Terry Rozier to tie the game with two free throws. After hitting both shots, Rozier also nailed the finishing touches as he successfully drained a 20-foot jumper in the corner en route to a 102-100 victory.
After studying their previous game, Bridges and the Hornets made sure to put more pressure on Green in their second meeting on Friday night. Their decision to do so eventually backfired as the forward was able to take advantage of the tight defense given to him in order to make plays for his open teammates.
He eventually dished out a career-high tally of 19 assists along with 11 points and 12 rebounds. Warriors star Stephen Curry also had a huge performance of 29 points and nine assists while Kelly Oubre Jr. notched 27 points and six rebounds to grab a 130-121 victory.
The Hornets could've done better in limiting the do-it-all forward's impact on the floor, given Miles Bridges' foresight. However, Draymond Green is too much of a savvy veteran to easily give in to the traps laid out by head coach James Borrego and his men.
Perhaps the Hornets can use Miles Bridges' self-prophecy to their advantage as they aim to get back in the win column next time around.
