The deeper the series between the New Orleans Pelicans and the Golden State Warriors gets, the more entertaining the rift between Rajon Rondo and Draymond Green becomes.

Rondo and Green appear to be playing a game within a game in this Western Conference semifinals matchup, as both have been seemingly trying to get underneath each other’s skins. Green and Rondo have been in each other’s faces in this series. The latest episode of their run-ins came late in Game 3 when Rondo tried to trip Green during a timeout. Rondo was called for a technical, though, it did not matter in determining the winner of the contest with the Pelicans up big at that point. Earlier in the series, the two had to be separated after they had a confrontation at the end of Game 2’s first half.

Green, so far, has done a fine job of keeping his emotions in check. In fact, he has yet to pick up a technical foul in these playoffs. He was second in the regular season in the league in techs with 15.
