When Golden State Warriors general manager Bob Myers told Draymond Green that Stephen Curry broke his hand on Oct. 30 against the Phoenix Suns, Green could only come up with a few words.
The Warriors, who were already without Klay Thompson, couldn't afford to lose Curry since Kevin Durant, Andre Iguodala and Shaun Livingston are gone, but it happened anyway and Green was pretty upset about it, via Nick Friedell of ESPN:

Thompson tilts his head back and laughs at the absurdity. After all, Golden State had already suffered Thompson's ACL and Kevin Durant's Achilles tendon tears in the NBA Finals just four months prior.
As Green hears the news from Myers, his response is succinct.
“I just said, ‘Damn, that's f—ed up,” Green says now. “That's just f—ed up.”
The Warriors' season was essentially lost right then and there. Everyone in Golden State knew the Warriors weren't going to be able to compete in the rugged Western Conference without Curry in the lineup.
The Warriors are 8-24 on the season. They have the worst record in the West after going to the last five NBA Finals. All signs point to the Warriors missing the playoffs this season for the first time in the Steve Kerr era.
Green has appeared in 22 games this season for the Warriors. He's trying to be the best leader he can and mentor the youngsters in Golden State.
