The Golden State Warriors were hoping to get some reinforcements at some point during their Western Conference Semifinals matchup with the Memphis Grizzlies, but it appears that won't be the case. After Andre Iguodala went down with an injury in Game 4 of the Warriors' first-round matchup with the Denver Nuggets, the veteran forward has since been re-evaluated twice. The latest update has reportedly ruled him out for at least one more week, meaning he risks missing the entire series against Memphis, the team announced Thursday.

The Warriors are set to once again evaluate Iguodala's status in a week as he works to recover from the left cervical disk injury that kept him sidelined for Games 1 and 2. If the series extends beyond five games, there's a chance Iguodala could make it back for the final two games, though that will depend upon how much progress he's made ahead of his next evaluation. The series is currently knotted up at 1-1 after the Grizzlies earned a win in Game 2.

Injuries limited Iguodala to just 31 games in the regular season. He played an average of 19.5 minutes per night when healthy, recording 4.0 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 3.7 assists per game while serving as a defensive leader for the Warriors off the bench.
The team was hopeful the 38-year-old could come back and help with guarding Grizzlies star point guard Ja Morant, but it seems that won't be the case based on the latest update from the team. Morant scored 47 points in Game 2 and put up 34 points in Game 1, proving a difficult matchup for the Warriors thus far into the series.
