Jordan Poole hasn't been as explosive in these NBA Finals as he was earlier in the postseason. But the Golden State Warriors guard still deserves a ton of credit for producing in his secondary scorer role behind Stephen Curry.
Klay Thompson certainly agrees. Asked about what he's been seeing from Poole in his first NBA Finals and playoff run, Klay couldn't help but share his admiration after the Warriors' Game 4 win.

Poole's performance in the NBA Finals could arguably be seen as underwhelming for some, given that he averaged 18.4 points per game in the first three rounds of play. He's down to just 12.5 points and has dropped as the Warriors' fourth leading scorer. He scored 20 or more in seven of the 16 contests through the conference finals but has yet to crack that mark once in four Finals games.
That level of expectation is more of a testament to the talent Jordan Poole has already displayed for fans to see. Poole has still provided an invaluable scoring punch off the bench, making the minutes without Stephen Curry on the floor much more palatable to stomach. He's often facing off against the league-best defense keying in on him as the primary option when Curry is on the bench.
Being able to buoy an offense even for brief stretches in the NBA Finals, while playing in your very first postseason run at that, deserves nothing but respect.
