The Golden State Warriors bodied the Boston Celtics in Game 4, with Stephen Curry throwing haymaker after haymaker to tie the series at 2-2.

Stephen Curry poured in a scorching-hot 43 points to lead his Warriors to victory. But based on the numbers, it could have gone a lot worse for the Celtics side.

According to NBA analyst for The Athletic Seth Partnow, Golden State actually shot a miserable 17.6% on their uncontested three-pointers on Friday night. In complete contrast to that, the Celtics connected on their open opportunities from distance, going 76.9% on their own chances.

Golden State was only 3-17 on uncontested 3s last night. Boston was 10-13. The Warriors *probably* have some cushion to not actually need two more compete pantheon performances from Steph.

If you take away Stephen Curry's 7-for-14 from the three-point line, the rest of the Warriors were a miserable 27.6% from long range, many of which were uncontested. With deadeye shooters like Klay Thompson, Otto Porter Jr., and Jordan Poole flanking Steph Curry, expect them to shoot much better on their open threes once they return to the friendly confines of Chase Center.

And even if they don't Stephen Curry could very well just go off again in his pursuit for ring number four. The Celtics are still very much in this series. But after Game 4, the momentum – and home-court advantage – has shifted back to the Warriors' side.
