The Golden State Warriors responded in a big way on Sunday, taking Game 2 of the NBA Finals by a score of 107-88 as they outplayed the Boston Celtics on both ends of the floor.
While Steph Curry led the way with 29 points, Jordan Poole also had a solid night, contributing 17 points off the bench. That included a wild buzzer-beater three from nearly half-court at the end of the third quarter. Poole's reaction to hitting a 39-foot triple also just shows how much confidence he has in himself.
“I want the ball at all of the end-of-the-quarter and shot clocks,” Poole said on the NBA TV broadcast after the Warriors’ 107-88 win on Sunday. “And my teammates look for me and I know I had him on his heels. I have endless range, I guess.”

You must have a different level of confidence to even attempt a three-pointer like that. The Warriors guard didn't even hesitate to chuck it up and it's clear he has the utmost belief in himself. Also, it was the longest shot in the last 25 years in the NBA Finals.
It also helps that he plays alongside Steph, who is the king of long-range triples. The perfect role model for Poole.
“I hit big shots all the time,” Poole said. “My teammates believe that, that’s why they gave me the ball at the end of the quarter, stay locked in and try to get this momentum going and take it on the road.”
It's good to know the Warriors have another player who is capable of hitting clutch shots. They'll certainly need it moving forward in these NBA Finals.
