Philadelphia 76ers guard Ben Simmons is used to bullying players much smaller than him. But in a drive to the hoop, Golden State Warriors guard Jordan Poole reminded Simmons that he might need to spend more time in the weight room.

Peep the clip below for Poole's mighty finish at the rim. Simmons did a good job at staying vertical. But his excellent defensive stance was essentially useless against Poole's strength.

While the Warriors haven't really been doing well this season, Poole has given fans a good reason to remain optimistic. After all, the 21-year-old has been beasting and feasting over the past few games. For the month of March, the 28th pick of the 2019 NBA Draft is averaging 20.9 points on 54.5 percent from the field and 44.4 percent from downtown. The numbers don't lie. The kid has the scoring gene in him.

Simmons, for his part, is widely accepted as one of the best defenders in the NBA today. His coach Doc Rivers believes so. And to be fair, he really is one heck of a defender who can basically guard all positions. But he may have underestimated Poole in the play above. In preparation for the next time they face Poole and the Warriors, Simmons may need to spend an extra hour or two at the gym.
