LeBron James was hyped for good friend Draymond Green after the Golden State Warriors beat the Boston Celtics in Game 6 of the 2022 NBA Finals.

Green is an NBA champion once again, and he is bringing his own tequila to the champions-only party.

He helped the Warriors take home their fourth Larry O'Brien Trophy in the past eight seasons. They matched a feat that was last achieved by the Chicago Bulls in the 1990s.

As such, Green puts himself in rarified air. He joins the table of NBA greats with at least four rings on their fingers.

One of those guys is LeBron James, who praised Green and pretty much welcomed him to the club via an Instagram post:

That's no small thing coming from The King himself.

James fell short of leading the Los Angeles Lakers even to the 2022 NBA Play-in Tournament this season, but he was nevertheless still happy for one of his closest friends in the Association, who put on quite a performance.

In vintage fashion, Draymond Green notched 12 points, 12 rebounds, and eight assists in the Warriors' Game 6 victory. He also helped hold Celtics star Jayson Tatum to only 13 points on 6-of-18 field goal shooting throughout the night. It was arguably Green’s finest performance in the 2022 NBA Finals, and it couldn’t come at a better time.

With that kind of performance, Green certainly deserves both the trophy and some Lobos tequila shots:

Cheers to Draymond Green and the Warriors.
