Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors are known for their creative offense that uses a lot of motion and off-ball movement to generate open shots. During Saturday's Game 3 shellacking of the Memphis Grizzlies, cameras caught Curry and Jordan Poole getting really creative in an attempt to get free.

As Poole was seemingly going to set a screen for Curry under the basket, instead the two players linked arms and did some sort of slingshot action to confuse the defenders and create separation. It was truly a sight to see and left fans wondering what the heck they just watched:

This Twitter user referred to this move as a “gravitational slingshot,” and there were plenty of other fans who had great reactions to this as well:

Move over Splash Brothers, we now have the Slingshot Brothers. Whatever you want to call these Warriors guards, Curry and Poole were in fine form in the 142-112 win, with Curry going for a team-high 30 points while Poole poured in 27 off the bench. The other Splash Bro, Klay Thompson, broke out of his slump with 21 points on 8-of-13 shooting.

The Warriors were due for a big performance on their home court after an ugly offensive showing in Game 2. After going a woeful 7-of-38 from 3-point range in that loss in Memphis, the Dubs went 17-of-32 from deep in Game 3 and made some history with their 142-point explosion. This came after the Grizzlies quickly went up 13 points early thanks to a 3-point barrage of their own. Golden State turned the tables on them after its sluggish start.

This game also came with plenty of controversy at the end due to Ja Morant's injury and allegations against Poole claiming he intentionally injured the Grizzlies star's knee. There has been a lot of bad blood in this series, but now the Warriors are in the driver's seat.
