After the Golden State Warriors honored Kevin Durant with a touching tribute on Saturday, Stephen Curry decided to welcome his former teammate in a different way. After exchanging pleasantries with KD pre-game, Curry went straight to business by splashing a 3-pointer over his face.

Approaching the nine-minute mark of the opening quarter between the Warriors and the Brooklyn Nets at Chase Center, the two-time NBA MVP casually pulled up for one of his long-distance bombs from the top of the key. Stephen Curry certainly wants to get back at Kevin Durant and the Nets, after they humiliated the Dubs with a 26-point thrashing in the 2020-21 season opener at Barclays Center in December. The 3-time NBA champion has been balling for Golden State in his comeback season, norming sensational averages of 30.0 points, 5.5 rebounds, 5.9 assists, and 1.3 steals, on a sizzling 49 percent clip from the field and 43.5 from past the arc prior to Saturday's highly-anticipated match.

Kevin Durant has also been phenomenal after missing the entire season last year, tallying 29.5 points on 52.9 percent shooting from the field and 44.9 percent from deep, along with 7.4 rebounds, 5.2 assists, and 1.4 blocks in his first 18 games as a Net. KD missed the Nets' last three outings due to the league's COVID-19 health and safety rules.

For sure, these two superstars will go at it each other for the entire 42 minutes.
