Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors will be without Andrew Wiggins once again when they play the Sacramento Kings on Monday, but this time, it's not because of his knee injury.
On Tuesday, the Warriors revealed that Wiggins has entered the league's health and safety protocols, joining guard Jordan Poole in the COVID-19 list. It is still unknown if Wiggins contracted the virus or he was in contact with someone who tested positive, but he needs at least two negative tests–24 hours apart–before he's cleared to play.

Andrew Wiggins has been playing like an All-Star player this 2021-22 season, even becoming an X-factor for the Warriors in their brilliant start to the season. He is averaging 18.7 points, 4.5 rebounds and 1.8 assists on 49.1 percent shooting from the field and 42.2 percent from deep.
Wiggins is the Warriors' second-best scorer behind Stephen Curry, though there have been moments when he completely took over for the Dubs to lead the team to victory. With that said, he has definitely been crucial in their 24-6 start to the campaign.
The 26-year-old swingman missed Saturday's game against the Toronto Raptors due to a knee injury, and so Monday's game will be his second-straight absence. Prior to the showdown against the Canada-based franchise, Wiggins had played in all 29 games of the Dubs.
