Frustrations got the best out of Golden State Warriors Stephen Curry on Thursday. Not only did they lose in the NBA Finals, but he also found out that two of his teammates will be out for almost the entire 2019-20 season.
The two-time MVP was so upset that he reportedly punched a wall after Game 6, per Marc J. Spears of ESPN.
Steph Curry felt so guilty about the injuries to Klay Thompson and Kevin Durant…that he punching a wall before hitting the showers after #Warriors' Game 6 loss to the #Raptors. 👊🏾
At least it wasn't a fire extinguisher like Amar'e Stoudemire? 🧯#NBAFinals

The Warriors came into the Finals already riddled with injuries, but things got worse when Kevin Durant suffered a ruptured Achilles in Game 5. Then just when they needed him the most, Klay Thompson went down with a torn ACL in Game 6.

When Thompson suffered his injury, Curry slammed the ball, walked to the other side of the court and sat down in disbelief. At that point, his focus is no longer winning Game 6 but the well-being of his teammates who sacrificed a lot to help the team reach the Finals for the fifth consecutive season.
Now, Curry and the Warriors are facing an uncertain future. Not only will Durant and Thompson be out for the majority of next season, but it is also possible that they could join another team as both of them are free agents.
Things would've been different for the Warriors had KD and Klay played 100 percent in the Finals. Some people could even argue that Golden State would've swept the Toronto Raptors if they were all healthy.
But injuries happen, and not even the best players of the game are exempted from it. The Warriors will just need to find a way to bounce back stronger next season.
