The Golden State Warriors are going to host Game One of their first round playoff series Saturday night against the Denver Nuggets. One of the biggest storylines entering this series has been the health of Warriors point guard Stephen Curry. The superstar guard missed the final 12 games of the regular season with a foot injury.
Curry finally stepped back on the practice court with his teammates Thursday. Klay Thompson was relieved to have his splash brother back with him. Warriors coach Steve Kerr reportedly mentioned the idea of keeping Curry on a minutes restriction early on in the series.
.@KerithBurke mentioned to Steph Curry about a minutes restriction. Curry: "Who said that?" Kerith informed Steph that Steve Kerr did. Steph: "Hopefully there's some wiggle room."

Curry asked Warriors reporter Kerith Burke who mentioned the minutes restriction. Upon learning it was coach Steve Kerr, his response was priceless: “Hopefully there's some wiggle room.”
Earlier this week, it was looking less likely that Curry would be able to suit up. But as the week progressed, reports of his availability increased. The Warriors are likely going to need Curry in this series.
The Nuggets have the defending league MVP, who might be about to win the award for the second straight season. Denver's shooting in the second half of the season has been among the league's best. The Nuggets feature six players that averaged in double figures this season. Denver took three of four games against Golden State this season.

So, Golden State could certainly use their leader on the floor. But if the video of him knocking down triples in practice is any indication, the Warriors fans might just get their wish.
